    This is taken from an Australian New 3DS XL. I never got an email for the ambassador edition, though I know a friend who got one (despite wanting to wait for the XL to officially come out in Europe). Let's just hope when America and the rest of Europe get the system 3DS screenshots don't become as much of a surprise.

    I was about to say 'Horray!' Until I read your comment. I take it you didn't get an email from Nintendo for an ambassador Edition. Also while we're on Smash I want to add you're Mii, what type of fighter are you and what would you like to wear?

    Yeah, I never even got a chance to qualify for an ambassador system. Would've been a nice collectors item. On both Smash 4 games I'm a Mii Brawler wearing a Martial Arts Uniform. Don't have any headgear as I'm already wearing a hat (unless you're adding the Mii with hair instead, in which case go with the Mario hat).

    I think I heard of what the Japanese writing on the ambassador cover plate says. Maybe I'll look it up some time... Anyway, special moves I use: Standard: Shot-Put Side: Burning Drop Kick Up: Piston Punch Down: Head-On Assault Yeah, if we're doing this, then I might as well make a Mii Fighter of you. Your Mii is on both my 3DS and Tomodachi Life (the last time we did this), after all.

    It's fine, Michael. @Crazy S: A few weeks ago, various Club Nintendo members in the UK were offered a limited edition New 3DS with some cover plates and a charging cradle to give them a chance to experience the system before its official European release.

    Yeah, just a regular New 3DS, not an XL. To be fair, while they could give an exclusive design if you could claim an XL, you wouldn't be able to get any extra cover plates with it (the ambassador system also came with a Smash Bros. cover plate, I believe).

    Yeah it comes with a white super smash bros plate as well as the Japanese style writing, it also comes with a charging port that is completely different compare to the original, it dosn't come with a power lead but dosn't matter when you already own one.
