This game seems hard if you didn't play an Hack&Slash before (such as Devil May Cry). It also seems frustrating if you try to learn the gameplay... but after beating the game you notice how actually awesome the game is. To be honest, when I started playing Bayonetta I wasn't expecting too much. Dude. How wrong I was. Still playing and enjoying it as if the game doesn't have an end.
