    Taking it as just a figure, I've been really impressed with the ones I've purchased so far. They are nice & sturdy & have a nice amount of detail (I love the textured feel on toon links tunic for example). Taking it as interacting with the games, I enjoy using them in Smash Bros & while some of the other unlockables in Mario Kart & Hyrule Warriors are nice, they aren't amazing either...

    However, as more & more games continue to release the figures will gain more & more value in terms of interacting with games. For example, while my Yoshi Amiibo currently only works in Smash Bros & as an unlockable in Mario Kart 8, with the release of Mario Party 10 & Yoshi's Wooly World on the way it will be able to do more & more in the future.

    In my opinion then, I'd say it's worth getting the figures you like. They look great & their usage in terms of games will only grow. That said, I wouldn't pay more than the £10-12 RRP that some of them are going for & as things stand I don't think you need to collect them all either. Just grab what you enjoy :)

    Jack the fountain of knowlage as always! I picked up a villager. Doubt that character will get much game support unless an Animal Crossing WiiU!!! But the doll I mean figure is pretty neat.
