Impressions

My thoughts on N64 Toad's Turnpike: Track: one that I found absolutely BORING in the original version (not to mention aggravating on Extra Mode... got hit by 5 cars in a row...), is another favourite of mine here. I like how you have the option of doing the slow-but-easy route on the anti-gravity wall, or the quick-but-hard route on the inside lane of the road, in danger of hitting cars.

    ...The randomisation of the vehicle layout also makes it feel fresh each time you play, and I ADORE the glider ramps on the trucks. Music: A step up from the original, but that's not saying much. Still, it's kinda catchy. Vibe: reminds me of all those long drives home at night with my family... Overall: an interesting track with good design. I still don't know what a Turnpike is.

    Use a glider truck when it's just about to go under that part of the track: it let's you glide over the part where it crosses over itself.
