So yeah I was wondering if anybody else had trouble with Central Command in the 5th world (chapter 8)? How do you avoid being destroyed at the 3rd turn (and I am all level 99 & JL 14) without using a lot of bravely seconds?

To Awesome Me: what about Fiore Derosa (Power) and Profiteur (Greed)?

@Awesome Me, yeah, the Holly/Barras relationship was adorable~ I love how the later chapters really give you another perspective on them. Praline isn't just a big-headed diva, Victoria isn't just twisted and deadly, Khint isn't just greedy to name a few. They're mostly great people. A couple of them are depressing (oh Victor) and some are pretty nasty, but I still love most of them.

@CGee: They at least had reasons behind their evilness other than "Yeah, I hate people." And they were funny! :D

Actually you are both right! Hum, speaking of Khint I kind of understood by joining one with one that he is the mysterious man who gave donations to the eternian hospital for children, no? It's kind of sweet and heroic and you would understand why he said 'the money was worth it' at the end of battles.

He was funding his daughter's treatment, specifically. That little girl in chapter 7, most likely. Khint is a sweetie. Jackal and his orphans too; that was cute.

Wow his daughter!? didn't remember him mentioning that, that's cool! As for the Jackal, it kind of broke my heart since he himself was abandoned... But he got some purpose for sure now! (The children voices asking for their 'popa' made me wanna cry. Also where is Egil?). Hmm... we still didn't discuss Khamer the VIII...

Khamer is cool. I have nothing against that immature old man. Erutus mentions it in the Chapter 6 battle. I guess Egil never became a canary boy because the mine was unclaimed, meaning he's probably safe somewhere. Goodness, everything involving the kids in this game is depressing. Let's not even mention Victoria (though I'm sure she's probably an adult in age.)

That broke my heart as well! I thought "NO! You can't pull this on me, game! I just killed him! Why are you doing this to me?!" >_< So glad he survived! I think I may have actually cried at that scene...^^ Made me like the Jackal even more. Oh right! He's funny as well :D ("Old Man Tick-Tock" FTW!) (Who cares about Egil? :P)

To Awesome Me: Tiz did, for a while... (before meeting his brother again... Only to leave him again. WTH game?). I'd say all characters are really finely carved story and character wise.

Even though I know Jackal's fate, it's still heartbreaking to see those children cry over him. He's only sixteen in the first game! The Conjurer sidequest was really sad. I couldn't believe the party would do that.

@CGee: Who cares about Tiz? :P Well, they wanted to save the world. Saving the world is important^^ I can understand Edea (she had another family to go back to) and Ringabel (replacing your alternate self who just had an emotional breakdown and is probably going to end his life now feels... wrong). Tiz and Agnes... I don't know :/

I actually just finished the game... I wanted to finish all the subquest first. So yeah that ending... Pretty shocking revelations thrown at you at a higher pace than you can even start to recover! I am still feeling dizzy now... Makes clear the choices they made in the past... But then there are timeloops... Can't wait for a sequel!

I didn't find it all that shocking to be honest. Good but not shocking. (Though I'm used to stuff like Ace Attorney so maybe that's the reason?^^)

Well I played and finished all AA's, and I am used to last minute revelations too. It's not about the revelations themselves but rather the scale they represent... (with respect to time and space). Also to learn that millions just died in one instant, just like that... I'd call that shocking. As for after those sequences, it's true that it's nothing short of an epic, beautiful ending!

Really? Awesome! What do you think of them? I thought you meant shocking as in surprising, sorry. In that sense it really is shocking, yes.

Well the AA games really improved w.r.t. gameplay techniques over the years (magatama to discover untold secrets, bracelet to expose lies through visible actions and finally the emotion matrix to discover 'the intentions of the heart' ~ Athena). But is there not an AA community out there to further discuss it (we kind of overly abused this post, haha ^_^' )?

Yeah, maybe we should discuss it in the AA community^^ ("Abused"? Because of 29 comments? That's nothing! :D )

Ouf, alright then! 29's clearly not a record. Its just about that 'keep related to the subject' policy of Nintendo. Well, off to the AA: Dual Destiny community then (not sure there's a generic AA community on 3DS)! Hopefully Blackquil will keep his shakles on this time...

Yeah, I know (though I talked with people about various things that didn't have anything to do with the post in question before^^). There's also a community for the trilogy. I guess it doesn't matter which one we choose.
