Where it says "Left: 8"... What exactly does that mean?

Is there anyone the Avatar isn't able to marry? Since Chrom is limited to the people you listed...

The Avatar can marry anyone except Morgan, as Morgan is their child. Sumia also has a limited number of potential partners, so be warned; if you marry all of them off, you won't be able to unlock Cynthia (Sumia's daughter). Found THAT out the hard way, too.

Thanks, It'd be a good idea to keep that in mind, since I want to unlock as many characters as possible.

All of the children (with the exception of Lucina) are unlocked after chapter 13 once their parents are married. Each has a default mother (except Morgan, who is always your child, and Lucina, who is Chrom's daughter. These are also the only two capable of being siblings to the others), and the father determines some of their stats, as well as hair colour.

Every first-generation female character has a child except Anna, Tiki, Say'ri, Flavia and the characters unlocked via Spotpass (you can buy the Spotpass chapters using Renown points from fighting other teams and then buying them through the Wireless option, but they won't become available until you unlock the final battle).

Ah, cool. More chapters! The more stuff to do, the better. I'll have to memorize all the info you gave me when I play next.

You married Panne, right? So when chapter 13 is done, you'll have access to at least two side quests: one to recruit Morgan and one to recruit Yarne. Make sure you talk to them, and that they don't get themselves killed before the chapter ends (Severa is a difficult one, as she rushes head-first into danger without thinking or trying to attack anyone...)

There are 25 main chapters (as well as Prologue and Endgame) and 25 side chapters, PLUS the Outrealm Gate. That's a lot of chapters. If you need to level grind, but a Reeking Box from The Longfort and use it when over the level you want to play; it will summon a team of Risen for you to fight.

Oh, I've used my fair Share of reeking boxes. And yeah, that is a lot of chapters. This game is going to stay in my 3DS for a good while.

Are you aware of how Master Seals and Second Seals work? As you will need them if you want to level up beyond level 20 (30 for non-humans). I managed to complete the game just fine without them, but I was on Normal, and I don't know what difficulty you're on (I was also essentially called a n00b for not using them - go figure).

Yeah, I have a second seal that I got with my Renown. Not sure who to use it on, though.

To be honest, I'm not hugely fond of having to reclass my characters just to level them up more. You can reclass them back to their original class, though, so it's not too bad. I've only used Master Seals, so I don't know how it affects everyone. You can look through a character's reclassing options without choosing one, though, and it doesn't waste the seal, so just look through all your options.

Ok, then shouldn't be TOO hard to complete without reclassing, although it certainly is easier (I've reclassed half my fighters on my second file with a Master Seal, and they're all really strong). I take it you're on Newcomer, too?

Master Seal promotes the unit to a higher version of the same class (e.g. Lucina goes from Lord to Great Lord), although some have more than one option (e.g. Cordelia can change to a Dark Flyer or Griffon Rider). Second Seals can change you to an entirely different class (not sure how many options you have, though. It may vary from unit-to-unit).

Once you reclass, the character's appearance changes (Master makes the change less drastic, though, so I prefer that one - Lucina as a Great Lord looks awesome!) and their level resets to 1, although they keep all of their stats.

That sounds good. How do I get my hands on a Master Seal? And yeah, I'm on Newcomer.

You can get them from random enemies, or you can buy them from certain shops.

Just realised that you can reclass to the same class you're on with a Second Seal, but it still sets you back to level 1. My main complaint about this game is now not a problem. Yay!
