I wanted to give Ike Ignis because I thought it seemed fitting. Too bad his Mag is awful...

VV isn't even that common because smashing through everything on the player phase works too and is reliable. Also if you fight against Aegis+ enemies or someone with a really high Res and don't proc a Dual Strike, you're dead. It also means that you can't use fortify (which can be pretty useful depending on your strategies), of course you could set VV up in every wave but then you have to not ↓

You can cross the last sentence from my last post out. Sure looks good, VV works but I think Astra+Luna can do about the same on Player Phase, you decide which combo you want.

*Cross the last part of the sentence out, the part with the fortify is fine. Is what I should have said. Originally I wanted to say that DG mess VV up but then I realized that you have 4 hits so whatever attacked you will die anyway. Still there's the problem with "Don't proc a DS and you're dead" against harder enemies.

@Angel Breakers are more useful than Pavise/Aegis in Streetpass, when your team fights against LB capped enemies who can use Rallies and Pair-up you'll die before you can counter-attack even with a 100% Pavise you wouldn't survive (DS bypasses Shields and that's where most of the damage comes from). Luna›Vengeance because your HP are either full or zero when the enemy uses braves.

I think I'll stay with VV. I can always put Luna and/or Astra on someone else. My MU paired up with Sumia gives a 92% DS chance. It's not 100%, but it's probably good enough.

That's a 84.64% chance to proc 2 DS consecutively, you can probably not proc a DS anyway as long as you don't try to fight Aegis+ enemies/99HP enemies/Invincisorceror (3rd Wave in the Secret path) with that combo.

@Boris I thought that breakers could be disadvantageous, since the opponent could very well just put the breaker for the weapon I'm using and nullify it. What you suggest me to put? Tomebreaker?

@Boris: I'll probably make a post posting my team for Apo. when I'm ready.

Everything that you try to do can be nullified by a good team, it's just that Pavise gets instantly nullified and Breakers require a bit thinking. Seeing that Sages and Dark Fliers are common, yes Tomebreaker. Of course you're still open for Bows but we can't turn you into a dodgetank (and now that I think about it Bows are very common too). Counter is good for Streetpass btw.

I guess you're right from that point of view. Oh, well... I guess Breakers and Counters works well against Normal players, or one that don't pay too much attention. Thanks for sharing your opinion, I appreciate.

If really wanted a cheap victory I could unreliably put Lethality et similia everywhere, but you are right, sooner or later they would win. I'm not building a "I-must-win" streetpass but more like a "I'll-give-you-a-good-battle-so-you'll-remember-me" streetpass. ...Y'know, now that you said that, I kinda want to make a Streetpass Avatar named Anna, w/ shop items and Avatars in team like Merlinus>

and other merchant related characters from the series as fighters. I would give all items to them, so that the player doesn't try to use the Avatar Logbook trick (if it works?).

Paul... My "engrish" lacks grammar 60% of the times and you all endured it until now. I'm sure nobody will mind a mistake or two from you once in a while!

btw. Paul I saw that you recommend Olivia often but nowadays she isn't really a common choice anymore. That's due to Aether!Cynthia's awesomeness and the fact that C!Inigo's RFK is nearly useless in Apo, also with Sumia's extra Spd, Lucy can double everything in the game as Snipers, which is one of the best classes in Apo. And C×O causes problems with the rest of your pairings since you have to↓

give Henry to Cynthia in order to make her good. Henry is a high-demand father, meaning that giving him to a child that already has another (and even better) father is a draw-back for all the units that would appreciate Henry as their father. That and Chrom is basically wifeless in Apo because Olivia should be a Dancer in that one and that's not a good combat class.

Inb4 you say that Olivia!Lucina can reach 75 Spd as a Sniper that works only with a Swordmaster pair-up and that's a terrible support unit or with AS+2, replacing only one of Lucina's skills will reduce her damage output drastically, though.

True. I was already thinking that ChromxOlivia paired up was terrible for Apo. since they basically do nothing in Apo. With Sumia, at least Chrom can support Sumia. With Olivia Chrom basically does nothing. For Inigo, I was already considering getting rid of RK. For Cynthia, because she's the MU's daughteer, I was planning on making her a Sage. (...)

I won't say that ChromxOlivia is the best pairing, but I won't say it's terrible either. The best pairing is ChromxSumia, due to Aether!Cynthia, both parents having limited supports, and Lucina getting nice skills and stats from Sumia.
