While many people my age talk about Space Invaders or even Galaxian, Galaga is the shooter I remember most fondly from the Arcades before I even owned a NES!

    You will hate this but i had my own Galaga arcade macine when I was 7 or 8!I also had space invaders,moon patrol,scramble,Qix, frogger,missle command and so many more!I was soo lucky!Gave me skills!;)

    I hate you Hyna, I always wanted an arcade machine! I used to bug my dad for coins everytime we visited the fish n chip shop where the Galaga machine was located!

    When I was a teenager there was 3 arcades in my suburb now there are 0! Now I need to go to the city if I want to play but I walk past them but never play.

    @ Punk - Galaga on Wii VC was only 50hz, the Wii U version is 60hz and cost me $1.30 to upgrade! The Atari was great for it's time but most of it's arcade ports were nowhere near as good!

    The NES did pretty good arcade ports until the more powerful games came. I remember when consoles could only dream of being as good as the arcade but one day they just overtook them!
