    in my opinion, bows are better in groups since the monster is less likely to focus on you. only other advice is get good at evading and try and plan you attacks.

    I had a feeling bows wouldnt be the best solo choice but thought it would be a nice change from the familiar territory of lances and gunlances.

    try sns, it's completely different from lances and it has a shield, if u get good with it try switching to longsword. if u want a more radical change try switchaxe, there's nothing similar to that!

    I suppose keeping your distance and putting obstacles between you and the beast is a no brainer... I'm still enjoying the Hunting Horn myself.
