    the wii u, PS4 and xbox one came out here in the UK before it did in Japan so it can work both ways, if i was Japanese id find the PS4 and Wii U very unfair seeing as there Japanese companies !!

    they're usually made in japan of course with no plans to release elsewhere at first.

    Nintendo doesn't always release in Japan first. Dialogue-heavy RPGs can come out in Japan a year or more earlier because they were written in Japanese, and it takes time to localise that much text and make sure it still makes sense.

    invalid. the exceptions are rare but commonly japanese-made games such as smash bros.3d do get released in japan first.

    Invalid. 1) Translating and Localization takes time. 2) Nintendo is mostly based in Japan, which is why their games are commonly released there first. 3) There have been a lot of games released here first.
