    My thoughts: General: Not that much range, but Panne should help as soon as I reclass her to thief. I could use him for Rallying, but only Maribelle, Lissa and Miriel would actually need that. Pavise could counter Luna+. That is, if it activates. High Strength would be helpful if I plan on 1HKO-ing the enemies, but it's negative in case I can't and they have counter. And they have a great Def.

    Grand Knight: Luna would help 1HKO-ing enemies, but it won't be that reliable as of now. But if he still can't do that, it won't end that pretty against counter-enemies. Better range. He could "counter" (bad pun is bad) all close combat weapons except magic. Dual Guard+ would help keeping the damage low. They DO have two weaknesses while Generals only have one. And their Def isn't that bad.
