It really is ridiculous that we can't even exchange friend codes for a game like Pokémon which REVOLVES around exchanging friend codes. It should only apply to parental controls.

    idk. back then i seen people exchange them to battle eachother but i no longer see that any more. i only see people exchanging them for friend safari and some for trading

    i do agree that we should allowed to but i think they might remove friend codes and stick to nnids and make it so you send friend request instead of exchanging fcs.

    Yes, I think that should/will eventually happen. That way, kids under parental controls can be stopped from sending requests, and everyone else can be allowed.
