In memoriam (Mother 3 Love theme plays): Maria, George, Gigue, Giygas, Hinawa, Claus, Fassad and finally, the Magypsies. All were great Mother characters, and is what made the series so good. :')

    Actually, he's called that because everybody forgot he ever existed, and you have to forget him to keep going in the game. It's really sad.

    That is sad, all MOTHER games have a sad touch to them, and MOTHER 3 has definitely proved that. :'(

    @Peter, it would of been cool if they kept his old name after cancelling MOTHER, that would of meant that in EarthBound it would of still been Gigue, but Giygas sounds creepier anyway.
