Does this version of Columns have the same music as the Mega Drive? I remember playing the "Clotho" tune a lot as a kid. It got really immense when you were about to lose! :D

  • No worries. Yes you're right. OoT had a horse, her name was Epona. Yes, you called her to your side when your an adult with your Ocarina by playing Epona's song which you learn as a kid.

  • Yep. I remember Shenmue. Was the most expensive video game ever made at the time. I do love the Dreamcast. A shame it died so quickly as Sega was never quite the same after the Dreamcast era.

  • Come to think of it. You remember those Dreamcast memory cards? The ones with the small screens that you put in your controllers. VMU's, they were called. Kinda reminds me of the Wii U gamepad.

  • Great, I was remembering the right game then with OoT. :) It was a really lovely game from what I remember. Maybe I'll play it one day.

  • Shenmue was so awesome&I remember it being one of the best games on the Dreamcast.I remember the lead character saying "I know this" to everything in the game, lol! It became a joke for this game. :)

  • Yes,it's a shame the Dreamcast faded so quickly.I guess Gamecube&N64 were just the consoles to have back then.Yeah I remember those save cards, wow,so many memories! Those were the days eh! :)

  • So which consoles do you own?I have Mega Drive,(boxed with manual/original packaging ;) ),SNES,N64(Pikachu Edition)Original Gameboy&Colour one,DS,3DS&Original Wii.Nearly all boxed.

  • Yes I would recommend OoT especially now since you can play the 3DS version which makes it portable and not to mention a good remake on a handheld. N64 version will always be my favourite. :D

  • I still need to properly sit down and play Shenmue one day. I hear many good things about it. I only played a bit once and knew it was a story driven game going into it.

  • Wow, great collection! I didn't know that OoT was available on 3DS, is it on e-shop? I may well have to buy that some time. It must look awesome if it's in 3D!

    Yeahs0
  • Yup OoT is on eShop. Look at gameplay of it on YouTube if you want. It's like OoT was made for the 3DS XL screen.

  • Great, I'm gonna check that out, thanks! I bet it's expensive to buy though. :(

  • Ah yes. It is a bit much just for bigger screens. I imagine you have the original 3DS? OoT looks good even on that.

  • No I have the 3DS XL. I wanted the bigger screen & bigger console to be more comfortable to use & easier to see the screen. :)

    Yeahs0
  • Nice one. I got an XL too. OoT is worth it. It might be cheating to say it's my favourite 3DS game because it's a remake but it's just so good.

  • It's not cheating if you enjoy it on the 3DS so why not have it as a favourite. :) I'm still going to check it out on YouTube, I'm getting carried away watching Road Rash right now though, lol!

    Yeahs0
  • True say. I think OoT plays better on N64 because it was made for a N64 controller but the 3DS version is brilliant in its own regard. Is there a version of Road Rash available to download somewhere? I need to play it. Modern console version or smartphone version even?

  • Yeah, there's nothing quite like playing the original game on the original console, it truly is the best! I'm really sorry, I don't know if there is a downloadable version of Road Rash, but I can check it out a bit for you.

    Yeahs0
  • NP. I'll check for a Road Rash too.
