Is the pirate dual wielding or does the monk have an axe? Unless you have Ninja' s dual world ability, I wouldn't recommend it. Knight's two-handed ability is better.

Spiritmaster is useless without a healer, so White Mage would be best. Pirates are good with a maxed swordmaster so you can spam amped strike for no MP.

Dark Knight and Monk work fine on their own. I would give one sword magic and one medication from the salve maker.
