    Sadly, no, Kirby will just somersault back. This also goes for enimies like the flower Lovely, apparently the things that you're supposed to save.

    The thing to do is jump/float over the boss/mid-boss and press down and attack at the SAME TIME.

    Not many people realise you can grab almost any projectile that can normally be inhaled with abilities that have a grab move. Try grabbing the stars that are left behind by bosses with Suplex!

    Many Kirby games allow you to do this. Notably, Ninja consistently is able to grab in the air, but games in which these grab moves are available usually have mechanics similar to Super Star.
