    handling is fine if you powerslide through turns(wich most ppl do anyways so yeah), heavyer chars do accelerate slower but their top speed is higher <-so in a sense they are slower and faster XD

    some combinations of karts wheels and gilders can have good strategys so yeah. grip is important becuase mario kart 8 is allready sipply the drifts kinda make it hard for you becuase of the tracks
