**E3 IMPRESSIONS** I'm not just saying this as a Nintendo fan but i feel they won out of the big 3 this year. The digital event was straight to the point, the Tree House was an awesome way to keep us, THE GAMERS, involved and informed and the push for the Wii U and its main selling point THE WII U PAD was done almost flawlessly. Congratulations Nintendo on a job well done (^-^)

  • Plus Nintendo showed off exclusives and actual GAMEPLAY. Sony and MS? Trailers, multiplatform games, and rereleases of games that are less than a year old.

  • Good point. Yes Nintendo made some bold moves showing off new IP's and most impressivly, not relying on Mario to help highten the profile of the Wii U. Nintendo paced themselves just right and IMO, gave us a fantastic E3 we won't soon forget (i forgot to mention the SSB invitational as well in the above post, sorry gamers)

  • Ryan, I couldn't agree more. While I like Sony and Microsoft, I like Nintendo more. When I watch E3, I watch it as a gamer. Any real gamer who's objective, would have to say that Nintendo won. Even with poor 3rd party support, Nintendo managed to keep up entertained and informed for 8 hours per day over 3 days. Simply amazing!

  • Amazing indeed, and like you said to grab our attention without much 3rd party support is an awesome thing to achieve. The other two weren't focused on games but more on "what our console can do for you" which isn't why i buy them. I WANT TO PLAY GAMES, not stream, watch tv, or connect to the internet and social media sites (miiverse an exception). The other two are starting to lose focus on

  • the product being a games console and instead it being a multimedia system. Which is fine, but buy relying on 3rd party games to sell it as a console could backfire in a tremendous way, because the majority of devs don't innovate and just copy whatever is popular. It's the responsibility of the 1st party to innovate and push the games into another level. And in turn help sell the console.

  • Nintendo haven't lost sight of this and it is the reason i've supported the Wii U since it's release. BTW these just my oppinions guys lol.....please no hate me.

  • I would have to agree, they did a wonderful job this year. Sony had a few games I wanted (Arkham Knight and The Order) but I wanted a lot more from Nintendo and they delivered. Star Fox anybody, can we get a freakin shout out for a Star Fox come back? lol

    Yeahs0
  • I didn't pay attention to the other guys so I can't compare. But I came away very impressed with Nintendo. Some new IPs and a couple games I can't wait for (Xenoblade and Fantasy Life). I loved the Treehouse videos too. Only negative is many are 2015.
