I can not continue and not die because the game automatically saved this health status and there are no herbs around. Any advice?

I have RE 5 on my PS3. Don't loose any sleep over 6. I did a review, on Amazon, titled " Resident Dissapointment 6". I had Raccoon City fully prepaid when I learned that for most of the game you're hunting Leon. Then I heard it didn't have the same maker. (dodged that bullet).

Yeah, I have heard that Raccoon City is a big disappointment. How would you review Resident Evil 5?

I really enjoy RE5. Its more action than horror. The guy who made 1st Tomb Raide's philosophy was: if you are going to spend hours watching somebody's bum, then it should be a good looking one. I wholeheartedly embrace that philosophy!

Well, I think I will get all of them eventually, not for a high price though.

There is something to be said for having the complete set.

I played RE5 on my brother's X-Box, tried desperately to like it, but gave up after a dozen hours. I think it was the focus on action as Jim429 mentioned. Wasn't for me, neither really is RE4 these days, I have no desire to replay it, unlike those that came before it and Revelations. I'm still hoping for an Eternal Darkness 2 one of these days, to the ghostly echoes of "dreeeeam ooooon!"

I just beat the game so I can start with multiplayer mode. I also bought this game when it was released for 3DS. I definitely stick to the HD version. Resident Evil feels much better like this. Hopefully Capcom develops more Resident Evil like REmake and the akin.

I am building my level on the Wii U, and rebuilding on the 3DS, (actually two of 'em). One 3DS game chip was maxed out, levels & all missions completed. I never got the infinite rocket launcher; I'd get frustrated at dying too many times in a row, (I'm a seriously CASUAL gamer). Tried ar power save to get inf rockets; didn't like the results. Started fresh again,

@Fer: I'm on the last set of chapters. You want to partner up? (And I take it we're talking Revelation here?)

Amen to that, Fer. I should be getting my brand-spanking new disc tomorrow courtesy of Amazon, so can continue the good fight, and hopefully have you all drooling over some more screenshots of the beautiful Rachael Ooze, post-transformation obviously.

@Rangaku, sure! Private message me about that. @Matt Happy about that! The first message of yours I read was about Rachael. I have to admit Capcom's designs are spectacular, you don't have a lot of choices when creating these monsters and yet each of them feels different. The RE story fascinates me, as some human beings are capable of what Veltro or Umbrella's people do. Some of them get lunatic.

International conspiracies, hidden laboratories, testing projects, vaccines and different believable personalities. Resident Evil is much more than killing zombies, that's what most of the Resident Evil films are about, though.

Resident Evil Remake for GameCube is the perfect materialisation of the Resident Evil idea, if you can forgive the old-fashioned controls.

I actually prefer those controls. But you are right re: gamecube is the perfect re game. Although I will always love the original on my Saturn. Nothing beats that cheesy b movie intro.

I'm perfectly fine with those controls, too. Besides, they makes possible the cinematographic camera.

My bad, I didn't use the right words, I was thinking of those people that say that they can't play with old-fashionable controls, just because they are not used to them. The only thing they have to do is move in the same direction as the character and not the camera. Piece of cake. If they miss this masterpiece because of that, I'm sorry for them.

If you want some fun: give one of those "players" chewing gum, then ask them to walk across the room.

Will they moan about best Resident Evil yet while chewing noisily?

Plug your ears! The high pitched bobble popping & "smacking" could get deafening.
