Impressions

Not a bad little game at all. I never played the NES version ( had the Gameboy one ) so figured I would give it a go. Its pretty short but I think most NES games are when you have the ability to save anywhere. Some of the bosses were still tricky though, especially if you dont have the right item. Good game but Super Castlevania IV still remains king of the 2D platforming Castlevaina games.

    I agree, Castlevania 3 nearly reaches 4 standards, if only it wasn't so hard and have stupid controls.

    I would say turbografx 16 rondo of blood is up there to, sweet controls and nice music and scenery. Give it a try if u can. And of course if u need extra challange, try castlevania hard mode, tough as nails ^^¬
