Kingdom Hearts III for Wii U would save it. Unfortunately, thats not gonna happen.

^ at the end of the II.5 e3 2014 right before the quick teaser of KH3 theirs quick snippts from DDD. i just figured they were hinting at the possibility of a HD version of DDD in the future. i wouldnt keep it out of the question seeing as theyre doing an HD version of FF Type-0 for PS4 which was very unexpected.

Iam getting sick of them! And for theblast couple of years... they been setting there eyes on Nintendo... like how they setted there eyes on Marvel. If Nintendo were to go bankrupt... disney would probably snacth them up... "welcome to Nintendoland at Walt Disney world"

@Soraman You do realise that that teaser from KHIII is actually a small part from the intro? One of the devs said that in an interview. The KHDDD part is just like a summary of what happened. Also, the two talking people are probably Xehanort and Eraqus.

Nah. Disney would never buy an entire consolebrand. They only go for movies and games and other media. Not consoles.

People I agree would buy it but it wouldn't be as big of a sell as something like Mario Kart or Smash bros. I still want it baddly to come to the wii-u but knowing Square I doubt it ever will. At least they have finally put the majority of the series on one console.

I think that its odd that Square chose to put KHIII on the XB1 instead of the Wii U though. Because the Kingdom Hearts games were for Nintendo and PS. Not the Xbox.

@Seb that's not necessarily true while it is more power i have to disagree about the audience since kingdom hearts has never been on xbox before plus most people who play xbox probably don't care about kingdom hearts and finally it is a japanesse game and xbox is not at all successful there.

Jack, I really like your way of thinking. But it's not just that. Xbox never had Kingdom Hearts games in the first place. Nintendo did. So it would make more sense to do it on the Wii U. I'm thinking, what if they remade 358/2 Days for Wii U. It has already had a "remake" (or well, movie...). A playable version would be nice.

jack: kingdom hearts started on the playstation, but nintendo got it eventually. maybe some had a ps2 or ps3 and now only have an xbone. its never too late to get it on other platforms too, aka the xbox

Also, Kingdom Hearts DOES sell consoles. Maybe not alot. But I bought my PSP, 3DS and I will buy a PS4 for KHIII. And I'm not the only one who bought consoles for Kingdom Hearts.

The reason I guess it's on Xbox is purely because they use such similar systems and is easy to port it over from the PS4. Still the Xbox is the last place I would go for JRPGs. It's more focus on halo and GTA

@Seb it is too late, because you can't understand the plot of Kimgdom Hearts without playing the other games. And because III will be the last game in the Xehanort saga, it'll be very confusing.

Laura: they had a recap of every game in ddd, maybe they will do the same in 3. also not everyone who will play it on the xbox will play it for the first time, the minority will. Chevster: well the xbox needs some more jrpgs, especially in the japanese market

well seb i say that because square enix is a japanesse company so it is very likely kingdom hearts will bomb on the xbox especially in japan plus even with it i still don't think jrpgs will be popular on xbox they tried before with lost odyssey,blue dragon and final fantasy but to my knowledge thoses games didn't sell well.
