Having trouble with Phantoon? To avoid his flames, fully charge your geam, but don't shoot! You will see if you jump (the spinning kind) while holding onto your charge beam, you are glowing! You can use this to jump through his flames safely. Also, Super Missiles take him out quickest. Have fun players!

    It's called a pseudo Screw Attack and it works well. However iirc super missiles angers phantom and he will do that boring attack pattern that looks like a fire whip. Instead try the beam combo attack that makes an X. google beam combos or similar.

    np, and speaking of his fire whip, you can also avoid it by morphing into a ball and hide in the corners. You have to alternate between left and right. Easier but not as cool as your method. Phantom is very random, problaby my least fav boss.
