I wonder why Nintendo didn't make a an amiibo game.

Because they wanted to stand out from Skylanders and Disney Infinity I expect, if everybody has similar games whats the motivation to buy Nintendo's? But by releasing something different they hold a new area of the market!

Also those types of game are by their nature, pay to win which isn't really Ninty's style, they manage to use amiibo to add to the game without really taking anything from it if you don't own amiibo :)

well think about it. once they have more figures out that work with multiple games & if they sell we to the point where almost everyone has one then they might make a game like that if enuff fans have enuff figure to justify making a game like that
