    Did you change the direction of the wind, so you can trow medli over? If so, use the bottle she gives you to grab some water, and pour it over the bomb rocks that are there, them use the bomb rock to destroy the bolder, and you should be able to continue.

    Yes thats is kind of a problem I have with games like this, if you stop playing for a while, It's hard to remember where you have to go next. Every rpg and open world adventure really needs to have this feature...
