I wonder if Nintendo had put all VC games on Wii U eshop at launch Hudson the developers of Bomberman wouldn't have had to sell buisness to Konami. Nintendo only put one Hudson VC game on Wii U eshop and the game is Adventure Island not any of the Bomberman games. Please do not repeat the title of this game here on Miiverse as it may lead you into getting into trouble by admins.

Lee, the xType bug is because of the ranking (leaderboard) - they are fixing it but if you like to play now, then put your Wii U offline and it will work.

Please tell me what Bombing Bastards is like except no sound on gamepad (which I don't care about as I made a pretty good amp) - is it a 1:1 bomberman clone or does it add it's own stuff? What's the gameplay like?

Also please leave impressions of X-type and ice cream surfer (you know you're going to buy it). I will skip the racing game and wait for 90s arcade racer instead

Bombing violation game is actually a really good game that is very much like the Bomberman games, for the price Bombing violation is very worth it as their is enough content to warrant double the price. Sam you should check Smikey's review on the game(s)

I prefer your review, lee - it's why I asked. I was looking for a good bomberman-like game and it's 5 player so I put it on my wishlist (money is a bit tight due to buying too much retro games). How about X-type? Did you try it in offline yet? And I'm very curious about icecream surfer.

icecream surfer got stuck, cannot play X-Type on Gamepad and TV is occupied, Bombing game is good though even though the online and Gamepad sound is absent. Sam in 3yrs time their will be more VC games and Nintendo will still do AAA retail games.

1-5 players can join in with local multiplayer battle stages, the 5 battle stages are like the very early bomberman games → no interaction with stages like kicking bombs in goals to cause a flame spread right across the stage.

The first boss in Bombing game is extremely annoying but it is kind of my own fault that i keep losing to him, if the first boss is hard i'm dreading to meet the second boss. The game is definitely worth the money and im sure if online was added the game would be sold as a full priced retail game, can be a little clumsy when moving about but yeah i recommend treating your Wii U to the bombing game

the BB is the best of the yesterdays picks - the car game is sluggish with motion contriols, IceCream isn't a patch on any of the similar classics that came before it and feels quite fluffy to control, X-Type needs a TV to play and even after messing around with HDMI's the player might get fed up in the first 10 minutes, the one VC game isn't as good as the other VC games they got. Letdown again

If all VC games was released this week and a indie game next week the indie game would sell depends on quality of course but then again Nintendo do need to encourage quality games to create a Wii U hype.

I didn't know x-type had faults before launching on the e-shop I haven't played or reviewed the game at all nor am I likely to for a while. As far as I'm aware it didn't have faults before it launched all it's issues were after it launched with online stuff. If I'd got it early like all the other games this week it would have likely worked fine until online went live. Just one of those things

SanukGames please share with us why no sound on gamepad. You said in a comment and i quote you didn't include sound coz you thought it isn't much an importance. Why do we have speakers built into the gamepad ?
