The worst thing about all early Castlevania games (right up to Symphony Of The Night) is... Press "UP" to climb stairs! This is what initially put me off most Castlevania games in the 80's & 90's until the "Metroidvania" games changed all that nonsense!

    As great as the original Castlevania trilogy, Rondo of Blood and Castlevania X68000 are, I dislike how difficult it is to use sub-weapons near or on stairs. Can't you change the button assignments for the Wii U version though? The version I have is for GameBoy Advance.
