No, seriously, why PacMan? He isn't even part of Nintendo's franchise! Doesn't sound hopeful to me; they shouldn't have scrapped Ness and Meta Knight.

Sonic and Snake aren't apart of Nintendo's franchises, that's why they are 3rd party guest characters. Also, Ness and Meta Knight aren't scraped they're just not announced yet.

@ Noah: Sonic has joint work between Sega and Nintendo - they worked together to form some of the later games. But your point stands about Ness and MK
