Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse Community

Question

Why is Dracula's Curse only available for the 3DS and not the Wii-U, when the first two NES Castlevania games are available for both consoles? Is this a major oversight on Konami & Nintendo's part? Or is there a legitimate reason?

    I noticed! I wonder whether this was as a result of asking via Miiverse, or just a well-timed coincidence? I suppose only Konami & Nintendo know the answer to that question! ;)
