Am I the only one here who thinks there needs to be a remake of this or Mother 1? Itoi said he was fine with the games and they don't need a fourth (Not an OFFICIAL one anyway) but what about a remake?

I dont think there needs to be much of a remake of earthbound-- its actually held up pretty well and hasnt aged terribly. Mother 1 on the other hand, would do better if it was remade kinda since its aged at this point. though if they were to remake it i'd think something like changing it to look and fit the other games more

MOTHER 1 needs a remake! It's because despite having an amazing, story, characters, and setting (not mention the best music in the best sounding video game series of all time) the gameplay and graphics have aged horribly. That's the point of remakes. If something has aged as well as EarthBound, why remake it? Just imagine the live choral version of the first Eight Melodies in an all new HD game!
