    I believe it means more of the items are things like Lightning, Triple Red Shells, Spinies, Golden Mushrooms, Bullet Bills, etc.

    Frantic mode plays more like Mario Kart Wii. Its there for people who prefer being slammed by items constantly and love the chaos and unpredictable nature of the wii version over the more balanced MK8 style.

    Frantic mode is almost exactly like MK7 with item distribution. So many blue shells of death. I really enjoy it, does anyone else like it too?
