  • When I bought the game it was more for collection purposes than anything else (that & a desire to support those willing to put games on Nintendo consoles) the last week I've actually quite enjoyed playing it for the review it won't ever be something I'm constantly on or something I'll come back to week after week but I do intend to finish it & maybe just maybe get up the friend ranks just a little

  • SHEEP SYNDROME I don't ever score games White sheep follow the flock & the flock follow high scores Many buy games they hate or miss games they'd have loved based on a score be a black sheep review all the info & make your own choice & choose your own path A score is merely the opinion of 1 person & one you'll likely disagree with Don't just follow play the games you want!

  • *Review Dedication* Review is dedicated to Chris Because well because he asked for it! I'd likely not have played the game for a long while yet otherwise but it's given me some fun so thanks

  • I'm pretty excited to see what else Shin'en has up their sleeves. I quite enjoyed this game and made a couple of Wii U friends because of it! Also, I love that this is one of those games where player 2 has their face on screen from the game pad'a camera. Lol. Great review, as always!

  • Glad you enjoyed it, and sorry to put you through so many game overs. I went pretty hardcore with this game and got into the top 100 in almost everything (top 10 in most arcade mode levels), so there's definitely replay value for people who like high scores. I can't wait to see more about Fast Racing Neo now! Shin'en really impressed me with this, so I wish them every success for future projects.

  • Plus, I feel it must be said that while I originally found Nano Assault Neo's music to be rather forgettable, the tracks did grow on me and I now think the soundtrack here is awesome! Once again, this has me super excited for Fast Racing Neo!

  • I am really crapp at this game!!!I'm not entirely sure what is the aim. ????? Basically kill anything that comes within a few nano millimeters of the spaceship!!!! Would love some guidance. Sarah

  • @Sarah You have to kill at least 90% of all the enemies (except on boss levels where you kill the whole thing obviously) When the % (top left of screen) gets to 90 the exit opens So basically you do just need to kill everything I'd try do it from a bigger distance than millimetres though :)

  • Thanks Smikey!!!! lol..... I think the game will take some getting use too. I've only had my wiiu for two years at christmas. I am finding that my reaction time is not as good as it use to be!!! I am an old bird. Slow and easy going is my best level until I learn how the game is played... Thanks again I enjoyed rading you review. I'm gong to follow you if that's okay!

  • Well it's now well and truely passed my bedtime! It's 04.05 am and I just got pass the first level and started playing the second level and virtually died straight away! How come the first level is not saved and that you must start back at the beginning every time you play?Or is this only until you get passed the first four games? I'm starting to get the hang of it! All from me for now. Sarah

  • @Sarah each world has 4 levels (3 kill 90% + the boss level) beat all of them and you can play the next world / cell whatever you want to call it you must start each world on level 1 though and beat all 4 to unlock the next You can play arcade and play any single level you've played before (best for practice also lets you equip power ups before starting)

  • Arcade mode is much better if you ask me, you don't need to be so conservative when it comes to your life count which allows for many more yolo moves for higher points.

  • There you go Sarah good advice spoken by someone who has a score a tiny bit higher than mine, so tiny in fact that if I played it every day for like 6 years I'd probably beat it of course if you don't get far in the missions you won't have much to play in arcade but it is good practice

  • Haha, that made me chuckle. Whenever I play now I can't even come close to those scores so I dunno what I was on when I managed to get them! @Sarah: The "story" is that there's a deadly virus and nanobots have been sent in to defeat it, but to be honest it's better just to stick with the aim of shooting things until something happens :P @Smikey: When you eventually get round to the 3DS version..

  • ..you might end up liking that a bit more. In that version the levels are much more varied and there are fewer enemies than then Wii U version. By contrast though, the boss fights in the 3DS version are ridiculously hard! Not sure if that game supports circle pad pro but if so then it'd definitely be advised.

  • Thanks for all info guys will keep it in mind when playing. At least now I am understanding the game play better. I wish their was a little more of info about the game and how it is played before you start playing it or even when considering buying it!
