    It's tough in that it takes you a few tries, but it isn't terribly difficult. The bosses are VERY hard unless you use a weapon they are weak to! Mega Man 2 is better, especially in terms of physics. 2 and 3 are considered the best for a reason - they are truly excellent. BUT, the trilogy of 4,5 and 6 is also excellent, and is easier. So you may want to start with 4, then perhaps go back to 2 and 3

    Mega Man 1 is the first one I've played and I think it's great. I have fallen in love with the series because of it.
