Is it weird that I'm excited about racing with Link, but I think Hyrule Warriors looks boring?

  • Well that video game genre isn't for everyone, I enjoy it of course. Not like everyone has to enjoy it.

  • Nah, you probably just prefer the excitement of racing over fighting. Everyone has their own preference. :)

  • Actually I used to be hyped by HW, but I watched the vids of the entire gameplay of the main quest and got disappointed. The plot had potential but actually lacks of development in game, there are few cutscenes, and the gameplay it's so repetitive like Pokemon Rum... er... Dinasty Warriors; and the ending just last about 2:30 minutes and seems quite plain.

  • But I would suggest to include Groose from Skyward Sword in Mario Kart as well. He is pretty suitable for a comical guest appearance. XD

  • Gordolfo, that's exactly what happened to me. Based on first trailer I thought HW will be amazing, but more they released information, more my hype died. Now it's gone entirely. It started to look so repetitive, and enemys nearly defend themselves.

  • What most pissed me off is that only few characters actually have an active participation in the development of the events, most of the time have a backseat without doing anything at all without intervene at the cutscenes. They have the chance to give some comments in the middle of the battlefield, but nothing more that could reflect their personalities shown in their respective games.

  • Do you remember the proud, hotheaded and stubborn attitudes of Ruto or Darunia and their change in mods when they become friends of Link, or the sarcastic manners that used Midna to establish she is smarter than the others and how understood what Zelda and Link where doing to save her and her reing?? In Hyrule Warriors almost there's no clue about those personality treats.
