Mr sakurai,i think that in the new smash bros game,there should be regular updates which give you more characters to play as. So say if you wanted an update to have Knuckles as a playable character,you would add an update on to the Wii U so then,when the update is finished you will be able to unlock him,if you've played enough brawls. If not keep on playing brawls until you unlock him.
