Question

What do you think will be the next Zelda game they'll announce somewhere in the future? My bets are on either Majora's Mask 3D or Twilight Princess HD. Could be another spin-off, too, but it's unlikely since Hyrule Warriors is just coming out.

    mm3ds and hopefully not a "new" 3ds exclusive or im going to be irate with nintendo. i wouldnt count on another hd remake for wii u. zelda u is next for the U. i doubt the console will have the lifespan for another zelda.

    If TLoZ MM 3D were to be released only for the New Nintendo 3D, I'd be really upset!? A lot of people would be angry with Nintendo!

    Im not counting the Wii U out yet. I say MMHD. I'd love to also see a LA3D -- converting GB graphics and sound to today's tech would be a delight.

    Yeah, Zelda U has already been announced so I didn't mention it. I did hear that they've got some ideas for a new 3 DS Zelda, too. MM 3D seems highly likely to me since they've hinted it numerous times. I wouldn't write off the Wii U just yet, either. It sells better and games like Smash are going to boost it even further. A remake like TP HD would be relatively fast and easy to make, so why not?

    why not? simple nitendo never floods the market with multiple zelda titles on any single console. handhelds example. ph 07. st 09. oot3ds 2011. albw 2013. so we can expect a portable next year for 2015. other side ww 02. 4sa 2004. tp 2006. ss 11. so zelda u has to be out minium 2 years before another. so u lifespan lasting that long? questionable...

    Yeah I agree that there won't be a fully fleshed out new Zelda game on Wii U after the new one in the near future. Still, if you look at the last years we got SS, OoT 3D, WW HD, ALBW, (Hyrule Warriors) and probably soon Zelda U in pretty close succession. Of course that doesn't proof anything but past years have shown people love their Zeldas remade in HD/3D. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

    had you paid attention to the dates i gave you, you would have noticed nintendo puts a 2 year gap between all releases at minium. ill add one gap i left out hoping people will understand. even ss and wwhd at 2011 and 2013. and with zelda u hopefully dropping nov 2015. that would place the next home console zelda release remake or original game at 2017. again will the u last that long?

    hyrule warriors doesnt count. anyone whos played dynasty warriors know this is a dw game with loz models. not a "true" zelda.

    Everything you said about the dates is true and I paid attention to them. In my first post I counted spin-offs, too, although I know they are not ¨real¨ Zelda games. About the Wii U's lifetime I'm not sure but to me 2017 feels entirely possible.

    back to portables we are due in 2015 most likely mm3ds. 3ds def is going to last till 2017. but if it does i kind of hope they return to the 4swords formula with online support. maybe include 4swords adventures as an incentive. could also use similar visuals to albw.

    just not on the "new" 3ds. i just hope nintendo doesnt use it as a chance to "force" people into buying the new model. because the hate and angry fans will be far more damaging to the nintendo brand than what otherwise might just be slow sales of "new" 3ds until 3ds inventory runs out in stores. are you listening nintendo? mm3ds better not be a "new" 3ds exclusive. you will anger many loyal fans.

    I don't think it will be necessary to put MM3D on the new one exclusively. The OoT remake worked on the original just fine so there's no reason why MM couldn't do the same.
