    Well Dark Pit obviously needed his own slot because Sakurai needed to make it clear the Kid Icarus was his game just like SSB4. Screw the rest of the actually good, unique characters who could have used that spot.

    Dr. Mario is there because Sakurai had to prove that he actually is as big of a troll as everyone believes him to be.

    I remember reading somewhere that Sakurai put Doctor Mario in Melee because 'he likes the character'.

    I'm just saying it's strange for Sakurai to make some characters a character inside a character while giving others seperate spots.

    I can understand Dr.Mario provided they give him a new moveset but Dark Pit seems kind of unneccesary.
