And to think the kids in the past had to beat this guy without VC's save point! Having to repeat the preceding area aftr game over is punishing enough. Losing your progress aftr turning off the console is even worse.

    Yeah. Modern games are too nice, you never get that heard pounding sensation of "I gotta do this or I'll be toast and have to redo lots!". I refuse to use save states, so I got game over 3 times against this guy just now lol. I love old games.

    Normally I'm like this as well, but it would've been too harsh this time. Tried about 30 times so far and managed to land 2 hits max. At least I'm slowly adapting to the shifting pattern. Fortunately it doesn't change.

    Did it! Feel a little bad about using the save point for practice, but it would've been too frustrating otherwise. In any case I'll try to finish the level from the start.
