Finally the last level on the grid is the boss stage on level 1 it's punching the bag all boss levels have a clear requirement of 5 but since your first 3 lost lives count as a clear you only need to beat them twice to clear the level (many more times for a high score obviously)

That's all of level 1 grid mode clear & the end of the spoilers Record on the boss level was 16 all 4 lost lives were down to the kids (genuinely) my previous record on it is much higher but such is the beauty of the game i'll be back for more it really draws you in

FINAL THOUGHTS This is genuinely one of the most addictive games I ever played (& I own over 5,000 of them) I'm not a high score chaser in general, so much so that while many of my friends post time trials on Mario kart 8 I've never once played the mode (I will one day) But when it comes to this game for me I must beat my scores at all costs (cont)

I sat down for half an hour yesterday at 4:30am I normally go to bed around 5am I didn't realise what time it was until my 3 year old son came in the room at 8am and even then I still played on until 9am (because it's his favourite game and he didn't want me to turn it off) (cont)

While it likely won't have quite that addictive about it for others the games are quick enough to play for a few minutes and still addictive enough to keep you hooked long after you planned to do something else Miiverse scores are ruined by the restore point issues but they can be overcome if they were followed with pictures of the restore screen I'll always be happy to after a high score

SHEEP SYNDROME I don't ever score games White sheep follow the flock & the flock follow high scores Many buy games they hate or miss games they'd have loved based on a score Be a black sheep review all the info & make your own choice, choose your own path A score is merely the opinion of 1 person & one you'll likely often disagree with don’t just follow play the games you want!

REVIEW DEDICATION *This review is dedicated to Wario himself* He's not my favourite game character by a long way but he certainly stars in one of my favourite game series of all time!

If I make 1,000 review yeahs before December 1st including past reviews (they'll be at least 200 reviews by then so that's only 5 per review) I'll be doing the challenge dressed as Princess peach! Yes you read that right! I'm 6'2 and don't look much like peach but even if we have 4ft of snow I'll be doing the challenge! I hope you'll all enjoy the challenge and I hope you'll all donate!

Excellent review. I really love this game too, i have it on 3DS (ambassador scheme). As much as i like this one, i was stll rather dissapointed with Smooth Moves (Wii) and Game & Wario (freebie for registering MK8). Wondering if you enjoyed any of the other Warioware games?

@Dav I'll be reviewing Game & Wario later this week (probably tomorrow actually) bought it on lauch day (gave the free Mario kart 8 game away because I had every game) I don't mind smooth moves (I'll be reviewing that next time I do a batch of Wario games) but it's fair to say Wario's handheld games often far exceed his home console ones

Hi , new follower courtesy of Brine. I've just read your profile comment I hope the fun outweighs the tedium. Any chance of a Superman 64 review in the near future? I've heard it's great, ha ha.

On a serious note I'd like to add my opinion about Smooth moves. I thought it was great with friends and family (combined with alcohol of course), it had buckets of imagination but I found it a bit lacking in single player. I think the portable versions are focused on single player and home console versions seem to be more fun with company.

2 players?!?!? This I gotta see! Honestly the GBA VC games I have bought so far have all been such high calibre. Still waiting to be let down by GBA... ... also still waiting for a Waluigi standalone game!

@Pav I won't be reviewing any n64 games until summer / fall next year (I'll have given up on n64 vc if it hasn't happened by then) The home console wario games are definitely aimed at groups & I quite like them they just don't match Hand held versions on many levels @ Brine 2 player games are throw away things one uses L one R but at least they attempted to put something in

Brine much more than two, there is one that's like pass the parcel where when you complete the micro game you get to choose the next "form" for your competitor(s). The game is well worth it just for that (when unlocked).
