Why is it the 60Hz version? Doesn't Nintendo release the PAL versions if there's translations available? Maybe Nintendo have realised that playing 50Hz content on a 60Hz only capable device is a bad idea. Duplicating frames and all that.

    It's not clear if this is the PAL or NTSC version at the moment. Europe got fed up with the sub standard PAL releases so after complaints NOE started releasing 60hz games.

    All virtual console games are NTSC-U. Probably HAL is located in the US, excluding Japan of course :P

    Suprising how the eShop does not tell you if this is the PAL or USA version. Esp as the DKC games were aprarantly speed optimised for PAL. Still an issue for Wii U gamepad though.

    This is likely the NTSC version of the game, although that's just a wild guess; all Wii U Virtual Console games are NTSC. I wish we had the option between NTSC and PAL (the latter of which would be a cheaper alternative) - then I'd start on Wii U Virtual Console. I can't stand the NTSC versions…

    This is definitely the US version. It lacks the language selector that the European version has. The sequels did have language selectors in the US versions, so they'll likely give us those versions.
