blue shell trick:when you see a blue shell go backwards to let one of your opponents pass you for you to be second place, then the blue shell will not hit you since you are in second place,if done correctly.the one in first place will get hit and will go behind you and you will be in first place. TADAAAA!

ye i done that trick put it on the map to see the items and let the second person overtake you also when its just about to hit you shoot it with a red shell or use a mushroom to run away
