If they wanted him alive, they wouldn't have told his story the way they did in MM. And if its a parallel world of hyrule as you've stated, with the same inhabitants as in hyrule, how can link move back and forth between these worlds? How could he suddenly return to the lost woods?

And why would they name it Termina anyway.. its pretty obvious what its supposed to resemble

Of course the heros shade isnt like normal stalfos, he's the freaking hero of time haha.

The Skull Kid went from Hyrule to Termina. In Termina he often played small pranks and he befriended the Four Giants, Saria, and some fairys, plus he has a liking of mask, as Link sold him one I OoT, and Termina society is based around mask. The Happy Mask Salesman also went to Termina, as did Tail and Tatl

So you're basically saying they all fell into the same hole in the lost woods?
Yeahs0 -

That includes more than half of the inhabitants in hyrule, seeing they're in Termina as well.

Termina doses have the same people from OoT, their the Terminan counterpart to Hyrule. Example, while they look the same, Malon isn't Romani or Cremia, the Cucco Lady isn't Anju, Lulu isnt Ruto. terminal is that of a waypoint, possibly referring to the mode of travel between Termina and Hyrule.

Lorule has its own version of of parallel character, Ravio the Lorulean Link, Hilda-Zelda, ect.

So ... in that sense, Ruto can travel to Termina, or anyone in hyrule really, and meet their counterparts? Just a huge bunch of lookalikes? im not buying it lol

If the happy mask salesman traveled to termina as you said, shouldn't he have a counterpart? This parallel world theory doesn't make much sense

Its not a theory. Its a established fact that Termina is a parallel world to Hyrule.

Again, nothing is confirmed or certain in this matter. That's your theory, and Im sticking with mine. So far, I think the all being dead theory makes more sense to MM's generally dark setting and story. Not some super happy parallel world with its own threats and evil, and with a bunch of counterparts that can meet. What connects these worlds? Where's links counterpart in termina?

That doesn't mean its a parallel world where people can come and go as they want. What's your point anyway? I think Termina being a purgatory, a world between death and hyrule, makes more sense. Termina is never mentioned in any other game than MM, if I recall correctly

In the instructions booklet for MM it says "This is a parallel world that is similar yet different from the land of Hyrule". I believe Kaepora Gaebora also mentioned it. I recommend that you replay MM.

"similar, YET different" How would me replaying MM back up your theory with Termina being a parallel world that inhabitants from hyrule can go to, but not the other way around? again, where's links counterpart? Its a parallel world indeed, but i think its a world link is thrown into after his death

If anything, it would only make back up the death theory more than I already am. Its all so painfully obvious. Links spirit as a stalfo in TP, the lore saying people get turned into stalfos if they get lost (which link in MM did, he fell into a fatal pit), the "Terrible fate" reference every time the moon crash and the fact that he said that when link woke up. That's just some of many, my friend

And im saying its a parallel world indeed, but that doesn't back up your other theorys, like inhabitants being counterparts of hyrules inhabitants and so on, those are the theorys im talking about. most of these are based on personal opinion and view, and references that support both of our theorys
