REVIEW: i really regret getting this game. even though the artstyle, visuals and music are excellent, the gameplay is so frustrating. 80% of the time i feel like i have almost no controll over what is going on. the bed is just too small to really aim correctly. having to tap the screen to make the ball go up doesnt help either. so much potential in this game but the controlls kills it

  • Really. Sir if you want your review to be taken seriously go into detail express more why its good or bad. Saying the controls stink and regretting of buying it isn't enough. If I cared I would ignore this review and buy the game. Just some advice alright? ô_õ

  • I disagree!! controls are excelent and skill based. its not an easy game, but is a very addictive, rewarding and fun one. I suggest going deeper onto the game.

  • Hey Zocka, hang in there, keep practicing and eventually you'll start to get to grips with it: it can take a little time. Also, remember that you can ask questions here on MiiVerse. Stuck on a certain level or need specific help? Us guys at Mojo Bones (and the other Siesta Fiesta fans) can help out.

  • i am almost through the game. i have played several arkanoids/whatever games and i never had problems aiming but in this game it is totally frustrating. like i said the bed is too small. making the levels sidescrolling makes it even harder. don't get me wrong. everything else about the game is excellent! but i can not enjoy it, because of the controlls.

  • have you tried using the stylus? you also have the analog circle pad, and digital d-pad... there's nothing wrong with controls or the "bed" size on this game, really!

  • lmao of course i have tried the stylus. d-pad or analog nub is too slow.

  • I really never heard anybody argue about the bed's size. There's nothing wrong with it. Even when playing the tutorial I got the grip really fast and since you are controlling with 2 ''buttons'' (Stylus and L/R) it feels intuitive, smooth and yet simple and easy. Wherever the ''ball'' lands on the bed, it affects the flying curve and direction.

  • In harder Breakout-like games you have to learn to play with small obstacle and barriers, too. You can also mess up upto 4 ''lives'' and yet it doesn't affect your scores (except for larger combos). The bed isn't too small and you can reach for the ball all the time, thanks to stylus support.

  • i dont have trouble to reach the ball. i have trouble getting the ball to go where i want it to go. aiming is way more important in this game than in most breakout-like-games.

  • Well, I don't understand your problem, to be honest.

  • It is because the controls are very skill based. Just keep trying and you will get it, it's not so hard like you said. IMO the stylus is more precise than the other control options. Use the stylus with another button (L) to make the boosts. Just play any stage, but instead of worry about the score, pay attention only to the gameplay physics.
