I know that some of the chapter 3 sidequests sometimes go funny in chapter 5, and people can't find the fog after they dismiss it once. But I think it's still there.

I don't know if you have to be summoner, but it should work for Susano-O. There is definitely a scene after the fight if you have Susano-O anyway.
