What is MGP? ------------------- A Mario Kart 8 Competition featuring 2 NA & 2 EU Leagues made up of 11 Drivers each, who compete in one 4-Race Grand Prix every Saturday for 4 weeks. Points are awarded each week depending on where the drivers finish and the Top 3 drivers in each league with the most points after 4 Grand Prix's progress to the Grand Final.

MGP: BASIC RULES ------------------------- Official Drivers MUST: - Comment on Race Weekend Posts stating their ability to race on the Saturday. - Comment again 30mins before their race to state their readiness - WAIT for my pre-race instructions as to how to race. - Standard Kart/Bike/ATV Only. - Normal Tyres Only. - Super Glider Only. - Random Track Selection Only.

BACKUP DRIVERS ----------------------- If for whatever reason, one of the Official Drivers above cannot race, then i will TRY to find a backup driver. If you're interested in 'being' a backup driver, do comment below. Backup drivers can end up becoming Permanent Drivers in certain circumstances.

[DLC PACK 1] When commenting, could all drivers, Official and Backup state whether or not they have the DLC. If 'ALL' members of a given league have the DLC, then we will race with all 40 tracks. Selection will still be random however.

@Kyurm: Wonderful but seriously, when will you check your Notifications on Wii U Miiverse. I can't say it directly (stupid mods) but if you want to race in MGP, you need to check it.

[Update] 28 / 42 Official Drivers have responded so far. @Kyurem: EU L2 Team Wario Vacancy has been filled. Please choose from either Team Toad or Team Shy Guy in EU L1. @Christian: Do you have the DLC or not? @Noah/Ian/Yan-Sid/Zane: I may need you as backups for the American Leagues tonight but can 'any' of you cover for Europe? Times - Noon PT / 3pm ET.

@Unite: It's simple really. Here's an example. - YOU are in NA Premier League. - If everyone racing in your league tonight has the DLC. Then the 40 track option will be selected. - If even 'one' person racing in 'your' league does not have it then we'll be racing with only the original 32 Courses.

Whether other leagues race with DLC or not depends on whether the drivers in 'their' leagues all have it or not.

@Matthew: Impossible to say whether you could gain Permanent Driver status but do drop by and comment on next weeks MGP: Race 3 Post and we may be able to get you in as a backup driver. Thank you for your interest.

@Alfie: It's simple. - Show up here before 9pm. - I open a private room for Friends. - At 9pm i'll comment saying the race is go! - You join me. - As your race character you pick your Mii. - Your Mii must wear a White shirt because that's the color of your TEAM. - You choose standard kart/bike or Quad. - You pick Normal Tyres. - You pick super glider. - On track selection you always pick random.

What part of that doesn't make sense??

@Alfie: You aren't dumb. It just prob sounds more complicated than it really is. Just read it one step at a time, making sure you understand each point before moving to the next one.

[Update] I've messaged 'every' driver that hasn't commented yet. I'm still in talks to try to plug up those two Euro Vacancies. @Kyurem: Please get back to me. I guess i'd better comment on all the missing drivers profiles to tell them to check their Messages on Wii U. I'm getting really tired of having to chase people up. The more difficult people make it, the less I want to think about

continuing it after this season.
