    Perhaps it's possibly just FURTHER into the future and another evil awakens much later than Grima. And was part of a group similar to the current group and something distorted the time-space continuum and Morgan arrived far earlier and also acquired amnesia.

    Or Morgan comes from the future that was changed by Lucina. that would make sense because in his memory he lived peacefully.

    Because if Morgan would have lived in a war, he wouldn't have so many peaceful memory and Lucina wouldn't even exist as Morgans mother because she would never had traveled back in time to meet the player and otherwise Lucina would be too young for the player´s character and I don't think Crom would like to see his daughter marrying his best friend.
