    I have played every 3D Mario game... I'm Mario expert :) The most difficult is Mario 64... It's very hard to collect 120 stars. SM3DW it's not so difficult... but Crown World... it's extremely hard...

    I don't remember sm64 being as hard as the additional worlds in the 3d world... but it was probably due to the fact that i was young and more skilful than I am now ;]

    Well, maybe pass through SM64 was not so difficult, but when I have play that game at my N64 it was too difficult for me to collect all 120 stars... now there is occasion =) after SM64 i have complete every Mario 100% =)
