    It feels slow and sluggish, lacks memorable tracks, the soundtrack is boring and overall the game doesn't have "it" that makes you want to continue play it...

    The ONE biggest complaint is that it lacks the feel of speed. It just trudges on and your heart never beats as fast and manic as for example the last lap in a MK8-race. By the way... 200cc next thursday on Mario Kart 8 is going to be EPIC !!!

    It feels "old" somehow and just doesn't grab me in the way MK8 does. I thought this game was ok before MK8 was released but now since I've bought MK8, I simply can't play Sonic Racing anymore. It just feels so slow, boring and dull.

    Yes, that I know. But I meant more that the gameplay feels old. Like a game from the middle of the 90's. This i just my personal feelings and thougts towards the game. I have played it alot and given it a few serious chances, but the game and I don't really "click" at all. But when I compare to MK8 i think this is a 6.5/10 and Mario Kart 8 is a 9.5/10. IMHO I must add again...

    slow and sluggish? bad soundtrack/tracks? your having a laugh if anything mk8 was slow (until today) and far to easy to the point of hardly drifting on 150cc and still winning. on the heart in your mouth moments have you done expert (4 stars) on career or the expect ghost time trails?

    sorry man, but if you dont feel the speed in this game, you may be playing on easy or not playing the game correctly to be honest :/
