    I encountered an audio glitch whereby the voices echoed and eventually landed on a constant screech before eventually freezing my Wii U. But even beyond that, there were far too few lives for such long, tedious levels flooded with patternless enemies.     ..expected to do it all again when I inevitably died. I get that they were trying to remake the original classic, but for me it just didn't work at all. I have never regretted buying any eshop game as much as I regret this one.

    Ah, I'm not the only one that encountered that audio glitch. I wasn't sure what was going on. It happened on one of the levels, I wanna say 3rd level but cant be sure. But I think it either cleared up on the next level. I though something was wrong with either my console or hard drive...

    There is a hidden room in each level that gives you an extra life (that's if your talking about the hearts) by the last level you'll have about 8 or 9 hearts.

    It's not so much the hearts, more the lives systems in general. Also, like I said, the enemies just keep coming on screen relentlessly leaving little time to do anything even after killing them. I really wanted to love this game too! But yeah, did you get a freeze from the audio glitch? Mine did during the jungle boss fight.

    I didn't realize there was a lives system. I also didn't have the enemy issue. What difficulty did you have it on? I can't say i remember it freezing at any point. It was just the audio problem.

    I don't actually know what difficulty I had it on, but probably the middle one. Of course, it's entirely possible that I was just really bad at the game, but it frustrated me too much to be fun so I doubt I'll ever go back to it. I'm glad you enjoyed it at least!
