    The Blue Mail works all of the time. The Red Mail only works with the sword. Red Mail is liking a Piece of Power at all times. You will send enemies flying when you hit them with your sword.

    Normally I choose Blue, but you can always switch by visiting the fairy.

    Personally I like red because it helps so much when you face a more difficult enemy or boss but thats just me it all depends I think if you are a more offensive or defensive player :)
