From what I've gathered, Balloon Fight was the very first game Satoru Iwata programmed. It also happens to be my favourite NES game of all. So in tribute to Iwata, I decided to download Balloon Fight on my Wii U and play it for a bit. Thank you very much for helping make this game a reality, Iwata, as well as many other beloved games of mine such as Super Smash Bros and Kirby's Dream Land.

    It seems many people had the same idea as myself. That's wonderful to see. Anyway, here's my high score so far, a whopping 466300 points. It's the most impressive I've ever done at Balloon Fight. Now then, perhaps I should have a go and see how far I can get with Balloon Trip.

    I'll admit right here and now... I'm not very good at Balloon Trip. So this score so far, I'm quite happy with it. I think I'll give it another go later though, see if I can overtake this score.

    I've just managed to complete Iwata's challenge and unlock the orange balloons. Admittedly, I look like I'm about to collide into a spark right now, but it was worth it.

    Here we go, my top score on Balloon Trip, a total of 54210 points. Certainly the most I've ever achieved in Balloon Trip, and I did it through my Orange Balloon run. I'm really glad Iwata helped make this game; it truly is my favourite NES game, even though my time experiancing has been thanks to the 3DS ambassador program and now the Wii U virtual console.
